Evangelism and Apologetics
RZIM Zacharias Trust exists to reach those who have objections and questions about the Christian faith, as well as to equip Christians to share their faith with confidence. It was founded with an evangelistic purpose, to operate alongside the Church in order to reach an increasingly secular Europe. We work in partnership with others, responding to invitations, confident that there is a local presence to continue the work. Our vision is to challenge those who shape the ideas of our culture with the credibility of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this through:
· evangelism with a particular focus on the sceptic and the cultural influencer
· apologetics that addresses current issues and the perceived needs of society
· training with an emphasis on practical application and finding answers to real questions
The approach is relevant and interactive, dealing with people’s heartfelt questions. Our speakers are experienced at addressing audiences of Christians and non-Christians alike in a compelling way.
Over the years the Trust has grown in its evangelistic scope, working with a wide range of churches, institutions and universities across Europe. We usually work in partnership, responding to invitations from others, knowing that there is a local presence to continue where we have left off. Different evangelistic events include university and church missions, church guest services, ‘Grill-a-Christian’ (Questions and Answers) evenings, dinner parties and conferences.
“I have been a Christian for 25 years and in that time there have only been two evangelistic events at which I felt there was not a single cringe-worthy moment. Last night was one of those.”
