The much-praised eight-week Business Program at the Oxford Center for Christian Apologetics (OCCA) is all set to begin on 11th May this year. For those from the USA looking to enjoy the incredible Oxford UK experience, there has never been a better time given the current exchange rate!
Designed for those with a passion to make Christ known in the workplace and with a desire to learn more about the key role that apologetics can play in your daily life, this course is cited by so many past participants as a life-changing experience.
Studying with leading Christian thinkers at the OCCA including Alister McGrath, John Lennox, Michael Green, Amy Orr-Ewing and Michael Ramsden is a blessing in itself. The course content makes it a double blessing. This year’s program includes eight weeks of teaching on assorted core apologetics modules such as other religions, science and religion, cultural apologetics, as well as various lectures on vocation and the workplace. Owing to the small group size - just 12 students - friendships develop quickly and valuable interaction between one another and lecturers is a highlight of the program.
One week of the course will be spent in Hungary at the European Leadership Forum, adding an exciting European dimension to the course – and provides the opportunity for attendees to meet the vibrant evangelism and apologetics network in Europe which is spearheaded by RZIM.
The last week of the program (28th June-3rd July) is a wonderful finale as the students join delegates on the RZIM Oxford Summer School week, this year being held at The Queen’s College in central Oxford. A wonderful Oxford University experience awaits as this stunning College opens its doors to around 100 delegates for ‘War of the Worldviews’, with additional speakers including Ravi Zacharias, Frog Orr-Ewing, David Wenham, Tom Tarrants, Graham Leo, Peter Williams and Arun Andrews.
In addition to first-rate teaching in apologetics and evangelism, the Business Program students have the opportunity to develop their preaching skills and to be involved in the vibrant worshipping community of Wycliffe Hall.
