On July 4, 2014, Ravi Zacharias will speak at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he will address the Kenya Christian Fellowship in America (KCFA) at their 24th Annual National Conference.
The topic of Dr. Zacharias’s open forum is, “The Problem of Pleasure.” He will deliver the keynote message at 7:45 p.m. EDT, and hold a question-and-answer session with the audience.
“Whatever your calling, it will test your character,” said Zacharias. “Any pleasure, however good, if not kept in balance will distort reality or destroy appetite.”
Zacharias will be joined by RZIM itinerant speaker John Njoroge, who will speak at 9:15 a.m. EDT Friday, on the topic “The Sufficiency of the Gospel: Staying Close to God When He Seems Far Away.”
Both messages will be streamed and archived on this page.
“Many people question how the Christian worldview addresses problems of evil, pain, and suffering, and they wrestle with how one can worship God in the midst of difficult challenges,” said Njoroge. “The Gospel of Jesus Christ preaches to every situation. It is sufficient for us in every circumstance we encounter.”
