Dear Friends,
Despite tumultuous global circumstances, we at RZIM remain committed to making a strong case for the coherency of the Gospel in a fallen world. Hardly a day goes by without the news-headlines swelling with civil unrest, and growing hostility. Though these circumstances are often daunting, God continues to grant us access to tense regions, and influential diplomats with little or no sympathy for the Gospel. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue with our travels despite the growing opposition in an attempt to remain faithful to the calling God has placed on our lives. I am currently hard at work on two new books. The first of these deals with the topic of secular spirituality, while the second book will form the latest installment in the Great Conversations series. I am optimistic about the reception both books will receive because of the intense need I see in a spiritually-starved world.
The Lord continues to open doors for this ministry that are unprecedented in scope and focus. The challenge of balancing time, strategy, and resources is formidable. We ask for your continued prayers and support as we prepare to meet these challenges.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege of writing to you.
Ravi

Study at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics
The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA), a joint venture between RZIM and Wycliffe Hall, a permanent private hall of the University of Oxford, is currently accepting applications for its evangelism and apologetics one-year course. This program aims to help Christians defend their faith in intellectually robust and culturally relevant ways, blending in-depth Bible study and research with practical outreach opportunities.
The two requirements are a bachelor’s degree and a passion for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
Spend a year learning in Oxford alongside a faculty of world-class evangelists and cutting-edge theologians including Alister McGrath, Michael Ramsden, Amy Orr-Ewing, John Lennox, Os Guinness, and Ravi Zacharias
The next one-year course starts in late September 2011.
For those unable to commit to a full academic year of coursework, a shorter multi-week apologetics and evangelism program has been put in place. The six-week program is geared toward those who are active in the business world, and are pursuing a practical intersection between their faith and their professional lives. It is the perfect choice for those seeking to sharpen evangelistic and apologetic skills for the workplace.

Wellspring International Project Highlights: Zamar Academy
Zamar Academy seeks to provide children born into families “below the poverty line” with “a holistic, self-contained system of education,” that frees them from the impediments to learning incumbent on those who operate under heavy financial strains. Specifically, 150 children, ages 3-10, who are born into families living in the slums of Chennai, India, are given an English-medium education, and provided with one healthy meal per day. To date, Wellspring International has supported Zamar Academy by putting in a school playground, furnishing the school with a bus, and currently pays 50% of all rent costs for the school’s facilities, as well as 50% of the faculty and staff salaries.
It is a privilege to support an organization so dedicated to providing impoverished children with the benefit of an education, and the proper facilities in which to take part in this.

RZIM India Academy of Apologetics
RZIM Academy of Apologetics offers a robust curriculum, uniquely designed for the integration of faith and the workplace. Students from both corporate and Christian communities in different regions of India, the United States, and Canada have graduated from the RZIM Academy of Apologetics and have brought its vision to bear on both their personal as well as their professional lives.
Currently, the building housing RZIM Academy of Apologetics is in need of another floor. The vision for this building project includes rooms for students, and guests, a cafeteria, and a library offering a wide array of academic resources. We hope by providing on-site sleeping and dining options we will help attract students who find the costs of lodging and dining out prohibitive.
Please consider standing with us on this initiative. It is a tremendous opportunity to equip those entering into key and influential arenas with the power of the Gospel.
