Vision

The vision of the Academy of Apologetics is “To initiate an ongoing process of building the capacities of Christians in Apologetics to equip them to respond meaningfully, in an intelligent and culturally relevant manner, to the issues raised in the market place and thereby influence opinion makers and leaders of the society with the Gospel of Jesus Christ".

3 Week Course

This 3-week residential certificate course on Christian apologetics is held thrice a year at the Academy where students from not only India but also as far as from the Middle East including the United States have graduated and stepped out of the portals of this Academy.  Our faculty includes persons from our team in the US, UK, Asia-Pacific region, India, and guest speakers from India. With its roots in India and beyond, the teaching faculty is uniquely gifted to address subjects as diverse as science, theology, philosophy, and spiritual disciplines.  This enables to broaden understanding and deepen the knowledge of students to be better equipped to defend their faith in a way that stands up to intellectual criticism.

As of February 2010 we have equipped nine groups of 169 students who have come from various walks of life including an Executive Director of a leading Swiss bank, daughter of a National Minister who is a convert from Hinduism, a Muslim convert and many young professionals.

The 3-week certificate programme apart from training our delegates in apologetics enables them to interact with the staff of RZIM thereby cementing relationships for our future ministry in India & worldwide.  A good example would be is when Cdr. Anil Varghese from the Indian Navy, delegate of our first batch, he has now become mainstay for all our ministerial efforts at the strategic city of Kochi in Kerala.

Today our earnest prayer is that the blessing of God’s Word will not only reverberate in this hall of learning but in the hearts and minds of each of those who study and go forth to witness to the truth of the Gospel.
