Christian Günzel is a fellow with OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics and a speaker at the Zacharias Institute for Science, Culture, and Faith (Zacharias Institut für Wissenschaft, Kultur, und Glaube) in Germany. After studying engineering and receiving a master’s of science in Bayreuth, Germany, he worked for several years as a speaker for SMD (IFES Germany), a network of Christians in schools, universities, and the academic professional world. He then studied theology at OCCA and at Wycliffe Hall of Oxford University, receiving a certificate in theological studies. Christian has a particular interest in the relationship between Christianity and science and evidence for God as well as the reliability of the Bible. He particularly enjoys taking rational responsibility for the Christian faith in lectures and discussions, thus inviting reflection on existential questions. He lives with his wife and daughter in Stuttgart.
