Gernot Zeilinger is an itinerant speaker based at the Zacharias Institut für Wissenschaft, Kultur, und Glaube (Zacharias Institute for Science, Faith, and Culture) in Vienna, Austria. Gernot studied international economic relations and worked for several years as a financial controller for an international company. He then went on to study at OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics and at Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford, obtaining a certificate in theological studies.
Gernot has a particular interest in the relationship between Christianity and major world religions, and in the relevance of faith to a variety of everyday issues and questions. He addresses these questions in various academic and other settings, and particularly enjoys engaging in conversation with people from different backgrounds and worldviews. Gernot is a big fan of southeast Asia and lives with his wife and three children near Vienna, Austria.
