Raymond Bukenya

Itinerant Speaker and Director of Missions for RZIM Africa, Raymond speaks on a range of topics including God and science, morality, the essence of the truth of Christianity to all people of all nations, and the exclusivity of Christ.

Raymond Bukenya is an RZIM itinerant speaker and Director of Missions for RZIM Africa. He was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda. Raymond graduated with a diploma in building and civil engineering from Kyambogo University in Kampala before completing the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA) program in 2014 and serving as an RZIM Africa adjunct based in Uganda.

He enjoys speaking on a range of topics including God and science, morality, humanity, the essence of the truth of Christianity to all people of all nations, and the exclusivity of Christ among so many alternatives of our day.

Outside of RZIM, Raymond has previously served as a missionary among the Karimojojng people of North Eastern Uganda with Karamoja Diocese (COU) as the youth, students, and children’s ministry coordinator. He is currently the Discipleship Coordinator for the Diocese of Kampala (Anglican) whose secretariat is at All Saints Cathedral Nakasero. He is also a chaplain in charge of the newly planted Marketplace Chapel (Ebenezer Chapel), in Kigoowa (Ntinda), Kampala. He loves to read and teach, and plans to enroll for further studies in apologetics and missiology.

Raymond is widowed to Brenda, and lives in Kira-Namugongo (Kampala) with their three children.
