Stephen Lam

Formerly Chief Secretary of the Hong Kong Government, Stephen is now an adjunct speaker with RZIM Asia-Pacific speaking passionately on faith in churches, schools, and other institutions in Hong Kong and overseas.

Stephen Lam is an adjunct speaker with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. He was formerly Chief Secretary of the Hong Kong Government. Prior to this, he was Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs; for almost ten years, he was responsible for elections, human rights, and Hong Kong’s relations with Mainland China and Taiwan.

After retiring from the Hong Kong Government in June 2012, Stephen read theology at Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford, and the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He was graduated with the Certificate in Theological and Pastoral Studies in June 2013.

In 2014, he joined the RZIM Asia-Pacific team. Stephen speaks in churches, schools, and other institutions in Hong Kong and overseas. On the basis of his public service experience, from time to time he also speaks at forums at universities and NGOs on issues of leadership and governance.

Stephen is married to Florence and they have two daughters.
